Muster roll, 14 September-28 November 1778, of men enlising in military service at Billinsport, N.J., with entries for "Labourers at Billingsport entered...[date]," "weekly returns of carpenters work done," and "teams in employed on the fortification at Billingsport." Continued as an account book, 30 September 1778-28 May 1779, dated 20 November 1779 and signed by W. Harris, Jonathan Hoge and Samuel Dale. Rear of volume contains an account of Andrew Crawford for 1782-1785 and a financial statement entitled "William Armstrong to the State Treasurer."
